GTSA Key Milestones
Inaugural Edition – June 4–5, 2024
GTSA made a historic debut at Nairobi’s Safari Park Hotel, bringing together gaming and national lottery regulators, technology innovators, and industry stakeholders from 15+ countries to shape the future of gaming in Africa. The summit ignited critical conversations on AI integration, blockchain adoption, fraud prevention strategies, and regulatory harmonization, laying the foundation for a responsible, innovative, and thriving African gaming ecosystem.
Second Edition – June 2–6, 2025
GTSA returned with remarkable momentum, hosting over 600 attendees from across the globe, including more than 25 African regulators and an impressive roster of regional and international speakers. The summit focused on building a balanced and sustainable gaming-tech ecosystem for all stakeholders, with in-depth discussions around cross-border collaboration, responsible gaming and tech adoption, payment innovation, customer protection, and policy alignment across the region.

As Gaming Tech Summit Africa prepares for its third edition in 2026, it will bring richer content, broader regional participation, and expanded partnership opportunities.
